Get Moving: Tag Games

 Get Moving: Tag Games

Tag Games is an app that allows physical education teachers to keep student healthy and active with a variety of physical activities. This app allows teachers to categorize lessons according to the number of students. It also explains the equipment needed. This app allows Physical Education teachers to sample multiple lessons of how to implement versatile movement in Physical Education. This app introduces a technological way for teachers to prepare for a fun and physical class atmosphere.

This is not a free app, it cost $0.99. That is a onetime fee no subscription is needed. This app allows teachers to choose from over 100 games and activities, which will keep students entertained. I give this app a 3 out of 5 because it introduces a game program that keeps track of start and end time. It allows physical education teachers to teach without watching the clock. However, I do think this app should be free. This app also has the limitation of cost, although it is not expensive parents or schools may not approve of the fee especially if it is for every student.

  1. Miss Muthee,

I like the concept of your application, although I cannot foresee institutions implementing such an application. It's simplicity is what draws the consumer for the possibility of purchase. With that said, it's simplicity is also it's downfall. The fact that it can categorize lessons, administer activity time, and develop activities would definitely be argued in terms of, "we can do that ourselves, why do we need to spend funds for an application that instructors do with a little effort?" I like the thought of the app, but I don't see schools putting an application such as this into consideration with the budget.

  2. Hi Luke,
I stated that institutions may not be as open to purchasing an app such as this one due to budget purposes. I feel it should be free, which is why I gave it three stars. Yes, instructors can categorize lessons and develop activities, but sometimes things get old and boring. With an app such as this it gives room for a variety of activities. It may not be feasible for the budget, but teachers can always choose to look into an app such as this one on their own.
